What problems will be encountered in injection molding after adding color masterbatch?

After adding color masterbatch to injection molding, there are streaks of pigment bands in the products under sunlight. This problem needs to be considered from two aspects: plastic physical and mechanical properties and plastic molding process:

A. The temperature of the injection equipment is not well controlled, and the color masterbatch cannot be fully mixed with the resin after entering the mixing cavity.

B. The injection molding machine does not add a certain amount of back pressure, and the mixing effect of the screw is not good.

C. Bad dispersion of color masterbatch or bad plasticization of resin.

The process can be commissioned as follows:

a. Slightly increase the temperature of the mixing chamber by the drop port.

b. Apply a certain back pressure to the injection molding machine.

If the above debugging is still not good, it may be the dispersion or matching problem of color masterbatch and resin, which should be solved by contacting with the color masterbatch manufacturer. After using a certain color masterbatch, the product appears to be easy to break. This may be due to the poor quality of dispersant or additive chosen by the manufacturer, which causes poor diffusion and mutual solubility and affects the physical and mechanical properties of the product.
