Established in 2016, Shandong Billion Special Elastomer Material Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of . The company is committed to the R&D, production, sales, and application services of hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) series products. In Longkou, Shandong, there is a 3,000-ton/year HNBR production unit, as well as a high-end hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR) and nitrile (NBR) mixing production line, which can customize and process various rubber compounds.

Hydrogenated butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber (HNBR) is a highly saturated elastomer that is treated by catalytic hydrogenation. Compared with NBR, the molecular structure of HNBR contains a small amount or no carbon-carbon double bonds. It exhibits better thermal oxygen aging, ozone resistance, radiation resistance, chemical medium resistance (acid, alkali, methane, refrigerant, hydrogen sulfide), and better dynamic properties than NBR while maintaining the oil resistance and wear resistance of NBR.
