PETG sheet has more advantages over PC sheet and acrylic sheet.

PETG sheet is easy to produce products with complex shapes and large tensile ratios. Also, unlike PC sheet and impact-modified acrylic, PETG sheet does not require pre-drying before thermoforming processing. Compared to PC sheet or acrylic, the molding cycle is shorter, the temperature is lower, and the yield is higher.

Extruded sheets of PETG sheet are typically 15 to 20 times tougher than general purpose acrylic and 5 to 10 times tougher than impact-modified acrylic.PETG sheet has sufficient holding capacity to help prevent breakage during processing, transportation and use.

PETG sheet provides excellent weather resistance. It maintains the toughness of the product and prevents yellowing. It contains UV absorbers that are co-extruded into a protective layer, which protects the sheet from the harmful effects of UV rays.

PETG sheet is resistant to a wide range of chemicals as well as commonly used cleaning agents. PETG sheet substrates are all environmentally friendly materials with FDA food approvals, meeting food contact regulatory requirements.PETG sheet is cheaper than PC sheet and more durable than acrylic.
