Polycarbonate TPU is a thermoplastic elastomer that combines the excellent properties of polycarbonate and TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) materials. Its strength, flexibility, and resistance to a variety of chemicals make it an excellent choice for use in many industries, from automotive and mining to consumer goods.

Products Properties

Our Polycarbonate TPU has a Shore hardness range of 80 to 95 and can be processed through injection molding and extrusion techniques.

Polycarbonate TPU has low permanent deformation in compression; it can withstand repeated compression without showing any signs of deformation. Additionally, polycarbonate TPU is superbly resistant to high temperatures and are highly resistant to bacteria and oils.
In addition to these properties, polycarbonate TPU has excellent hydrolysis resistance, making them ideal for use in wet environments. Its excellent abrasion resistance and low-temperature flexibility also make it ideal for high-end sealing applications, mining screens, elevator wheels and cable jacketing.
