Cast film is a non-stretch, non-directional, flat extruded film produced by melt saliva quenching, in both single-layer saliva and multi-layer co-extrusion saliva. Compared with blown film, it is characterized by fast production speed, high yield, and excellent film transparency, gloss, and thickness uniformity.

 

At the same time, because it is flat extruded film subsequent processes, such as printing, lamination, etc. are extremely convenient, and therefore widely used in food, medical supplies, textiles, flowers, packaging of daily necessities. China's cast film production started late (1980s), the foundation is relatively weak, but the development speed is fast. After nearly 20 years of continuous development and growth, China's current cast film in the packaging industry has become a sunrise industry with considerable production capacity and production level.

 

 

Polypropylene Resin CPP is produced in two ways: single-layer cast and multi-layer co-extruded cast. Single-layer films mainly require materials with good low-temperature heat sealing performance and flexibility. Multi-layer co-extruded cast film can generally be divided into three layers: heat seal layer, support layer and corona layer, which are wider than single-layer film in terms of material selection and can be individually selected to meet the requirements of each layer, giving the film different functions and uses. The heat sealing layer is required for heat sealing processing, which requires a low melting point, good heat fusion, wide heat sealing temperature and easy sealing; the support layer plays a supporting role for the film and increases the stiffness of the film; the corona layer is required for printing or metallization processing, which requires moderate surface tension and strict restrictions on the addition of additives.
